So what exactly is Somatic Eating®?

You will be led through a body-oriented, sensation-focused therapeutic approach to eating.

This approach facilitates a decrease in patterns of emotional eating, overeating, binge eating, chronic dieting, restriction, overexercising, binge-restrict cycle, unexplained digestive issues, and body image concerns.

These ways of relating to food and body come in to regulate a dysregulated nervous system that was created out of a reaction to past trauma. By cultivating awareness of current bodily reactions, habits, and patterns, and practicing showing up in your relationship with food, needs, and bodily sensations in ways that facilitate safety, connection, and regulation, you can feel more in alignment and accepting of yourself.

You will learn how to be guided by your body's feedback to create the Satiated Life you desire to live free from the weight of food and body image concerns and full of acceptance, empowerment, and satiation.
